This portrait image was one of many that I took whilst in the studio for my photo shoot. This was the image which I chose. I thought that this selected image would on my front cover perfectly. I used a black background I did not want to use any other colours due to dirt and other substances showing up on their surface easily. Also with the black background on I was able to create a little light patch behind Jack and Louis' heads.
Below are some images of multiple photos I took whilst in the photo shoot that did not work out.
This image is clearly too dark. Half of Jack's face has been darkened out by the lack of light and also due to both of the models wearing black jeans, their legs are hard to see. I have also took the picture too close, even if you could see the subjects leg's, because of the closeness of the photo, the legs and feet have been cut out of the photograph.
Now this image is the complete opposite. I have taken the picture way too far back from the models and because of this, the wall behind the black background has been revealed. Also the lighting has again cut half of Jack's face out of the shot, and Louis's forehead. After a few trail and error shots I realised the perfect distance for my desired shot.
