InDesign Test

Above is an interview with The Courteeners. I added the article to the right hand side and a picture of Liam Fray the band's frontman on the left hand side. I tried to do the best I could as this was my first ever time using InDesign, this is why it looks slightly basic. Although of the lack of detail, I think that this was a successful first attempt as it has a nice final look towards it.

This was my first time using InDesign. I did find this very challenging as because the programme is to industry standard, the professionals use this for their magazines. I found it very hard to insert text into more than one box as I had never done it before and it was very different to using the everyday Microsoft Word. Also inserting an image was a task as I did not know you had to "place" the image instead on opening it.
